  • Stereo rendering compatible with BB strip rendering?

Doesnt seem to be, is this a known thing or am I doing it wrong?
Seems to only render one eye.

Ive tried with and without "adjust resolution" (tweaking the resolution to suit)

I want to render some 20k stereo panos, but ive had some timeouts and crashes etc. Hence wanting to use the strip rendering.

It should work without the "adjust resolution" option just fine - at least I can't think of a reason why it won't.

What kind of crashes and timeouts are you having?

    Best regards,

Well the timeouts and crashes were when I tried to render without strip rendering. So it was 20k x 5k of a very heavy scene.
Usual cryptic backburner errors, essentially it wouldnt render.

Even if I untick 'adjust resolution' it still seems to only do one eye.

Ok. You could generally turn off the "Get resolution from MAX" option and keep the 3ds Max resolution to something small like 320x240, and use the V-Ray VFB only. This should save some memory, but you'll have to use the V-Ray VFB output options. See for example this topic: http://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/V...+Large+Images#
