  • Distributed rendering and procedural noise

    Using Vray 3.00.03

Having an issue where procedural noise is rendering as black dots. EDIT: looks like it is only procedural noise on the bump thats the issue. On the refraction it works perfectly.

Ideas? If it's a build issue, is there a way to fix it locally without changing versions?

    Thanks

They are both Intel machines. I7s.

With/without embree turned on results in the same problem.

The noise is actually implemented by 3ds Max, we don't have control over it. Maybe try using another noise texture, like Bercon noise?
