Hello,
We are facing two problems while rendering 5000x5000 images, first is that on one scene there was this warning "camera fov is too small possible round-off errors" , though rendering was through VRayCamera and definitely FOV was fine, about 66. Scene was rendering completely empty with this error. What i've done is i just cloned camera - it renders fine now... Pretty strange thing ?
The second is that we are using network drives setup, like "\\server\projects" is "z:\projects" - i know this is not the best way to work , though this is workflow which was setup already. So the thing is that slaves are losing network drives connections randomly - missing assets , xrefs and etc. I've been reading on Windows forums (we are using Windows server 2012 as server and windows 7s as workstations and render nodes) that there is a trick to "give" more memory to windows network driver, is that an issue ?
Our typical workstation config is i7 , 64gb ram , scenes are "eating" about 32 gb ram , so there should be plenty of free RAM , 3dsmax 2014 and VRay 3.20.02, setup involves Backburner and VRay Spawners.
Thanks !
