  • Maya to Max FBX problem

    Hi,
    I have a car that is fine in Maya, when I export it to FBX and import in Max it basically comes in as scattered parts, not the whole car.

    I've done some obvious stuff like re-centre the axis's in Maya, un-grouped and re-grouped.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Rebuild to triangles, not n-gons. I suppose, fbx tries to do that automatically.... CAD ?
    I just can't seem to trust myself
    So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

      Sometimes this happens. Without doing too much more work, you can try alembic. I would also remove any object from any group and freeze transform it.
