Focused VRay Light samples badly in Fixed, Progressive and Adapative sampling

I was having some sampling errors in a scene and was able to reproduce it with a single light. I'm seeing a halo from progressive, adaptive and fixed sampling with a semi-directional vray light.

Hi,

To fix this lack of shadow samples you can put more subdiv. to the V-Ray light or increase the Min. shading rate parameter.

Have you tried increasing the Probabilistic Lights?
