  • Animated irradiance map on particle flow group

    Hello
    I have such situation :
There is a particle flow with birth group , wich is generated from about 1800 separate capped objects (it was one big object before).
I am using irradiance map (animation) mode, though there is flickering from that on other surfaces. I tried blend up to 10 frames together , tried to interpolate up to 100 , but nothing helps - irrmap is still blotchy and flickering.
What i've found in help is this :
"For animated irradiance maps, GI samples on different objects are not shared; this may lead to small objects to appear black in the final renders. To solve this issue, group those objects together - this will work as GI samples are shared for objects which are part of the same group."
So here comes the question. Now all objects , from wich i got particles are separate objects. If i group them - will irrmap consider those objects generated by particle flow as one and share irrmap samples between them ? That will help me a lot !
    Hope i explained clearly !

    Actually it is
I did not believe that this will work , because i added objects to PFlow as a separate objects , but getting into group initial objects and hiding them (keeping in PFlow as separate objects) actually worked , and irrmap samples are being shared - now it looks like one smooth surface. I know i should've keept it as one object and in birth group just use divide particles per elements , but silly me - never thought about that !
Anyway , hope this post will help someone with same problem also.
