  • Can't color correct VraySky map

Does anybody know how to properly color correct a VraySky map? I tried to use it with Max's Color Correction node to tone down the blue shadows but as soon as I do this the render becomes dark as if there's no VraySky in the environment slot. This is with the latest official version of Vray on Max 2016 SP1 EXT1.

If my memory doesn't lie, I remember some time ago that I did this and there weren't any problems using it in conjunction with the Color Correction map but I don't think this was with Vray 3.

Here are a couple of screenshots:

EDIT: Forgot to mention that this is rendered with VrayRT in CPU mode. I now tested the production renderer and everything works like a charm! Is this a limitation or a bug? In the supported features page of RT it says that it does support Color Correction map and VraySky.

I would also love for this to be supported. It makes more creative sky setups possible but not with RT

you can also try using a vraycomptex, set to multiple or add. and use a vray colour node.

I haven't tested this with RT though
