Not rendering correct image as beauty pass

In an animation, and this kind of random, some frames are not rendering the 'beauty pass' as the final regular image, but instead the 'reflection pass'.
- I would say 30% of the frames are ok.
- The same scene can issue correct results with other cameras.
- A machine can render a correct frame, and a 'reflection frame', so it is not machine related.
- It happens at rendering time, see screengrab. Therefore, it is not a 'Deadline' save issue. (black square in the middle is photosshopped, as I cannot show this part of the product)

Is this a know issue or something somebody else has experienced.

Hi,

Would it be possible to send us any scene file that has this problem to test it in our environment?
Also what is the V-Ray/3DS max versions that you are using ?

I see that you are using the native Max FB for this project, what about if you switch to our VFB ?

Is this a know issue or something somebody else has experienced.

Actually I haven't come across any similar issues so far.

Thanks Tashko for the answer.

We are using the native buffer for uniformity reasons. (I wish we could switch, but this is a decision that is not under my control, but a better integrated 'save output' and 'passes save' blended within 3dsMax would sure help me win this argument, but back to the problem now..)

We are using 3dsMax 2014 and Vray 3.20.02

The problem was created by the particle system present in the scene.
