  • UNHANDLED EXCEPTION Render Crash

    Hi all
Today I have received this message when I've tried to render :
    error: UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Scanning scene
Last marker is at ./src/vrenderlight.cpp, line 488: Exiting VRenderLightObj::init()
    And max closed.
When I have tried to open the file and do render again it show this new message and crashed also :
    Error writing to file
    I work on Max 2015 SP2 , Vray 3.20.03 .
Any help would be highly appreciated
    Thanks in advance .

Update: I think it is max related issue as I have tried to save the file/ merge to a new file and it crashed again , I will try to communicate with autodesk support too .

Does the crash occurs when rendering the scene with another render engine line Scanline/MentalRay?
How much memory is installed on the machine and how much for it is occupied during the rendering?

Thanks for the answer Svetlozar .
I have solved the problem by merging to a new file item by item , and I don't know how but I have ended merging ALL the items and the render worked like charm .
Btw the render takes almost 12 GB and I have 64GB so I don't think it is low ram issue, but as it is working now I don't need to know why ! .
      Thanks for your support .
      cheers .
