  • Stereoscopic / Spherical panorama problem - splotches!

I'm getting a lot of strange noise on on certain surfaces when trying to create a stereoscopic / spherical panorama. The same issue shows up when I also try a Cube 6x1. You can see in the example how the edges of the wood are spotchy; as well as the teal fabric face on the furniture in the background. Any notion of what's causing this?

I've got the Override FOV set to 360°.

The problem does NOT occur when I turn off the stereoscopic helper!

    Tnx

Are you using any AA filter?

    Best regards,

Hi vlado, yes I am. I've also tried Fixed type and various other filter options but nothing fixes the issue.

Then it would be best to get us a scene to support@chaosgroup.com so that we can check what's wrong.

        Best regards,

            Hi,

The issue is reproduced and forwarded to our developers. Until we manage to fix it, you can enable the option "Camera Motion blur" or activate Embree from the System roll-out in order to remove the artifacts from the rendering.

Thanks for the update, the Camera Motion Blur has fixed it up nicely.
