Can't change layer of vray proxies

Hi,

I have a strange problem : I merged a few proxies from another scene. Now I want to put them on a certain layer and it doesn't work. If I try to move them to any layer, nothing happens.
If I check their properties I can see their are on layer "MT_PM"... which doesn't exist in my scene.

Ok, I was able to move those proxies using maxscript. But it's impossible to do it with the layer manager...

Hi,

Works fine in my test. What I did is :
Imported a Proxy Teapot into a new file and moved it to another layer.

Do you have a scene to share ?
