VrayRT background image resets buffer every update

  • VrayRT background image resets buffer every update

    When working in RT mode, if i have a background image, every time there's an update it clears the buffer and restarts the render. If i turn the bg image off it works properly and doesn't clear it.

    Plus its way slower to update with a bg image on.

    Could this be fixed please?

      Can also confirm this.
      I had a dome light + HDRI which was then instanced into env map slot. Every time i rotated the dome light it would stall and take ages to update.
      If I cleared the environment map slot, it would then begin to update instantly.

        Oh so that happens in the environment slot too? I was refering to the actual bg image on the buffer CC panel.

        I can send a scene, but it's pretty basic, just add something to the env/bg image slot and compare speeds on and off. CPU and GPU btw
