3.20.3 Caustics not showing up?

Hi, for some reason I can't get caustics to show up in 3.20.3? I even opened up an old scene that had it rendering out fine in an older 2.0 version and they won't show up in the current build.....

Is there something I'm missing?

never mind.... I found out I had to turn off "Affect Shadows" in the refractive material (it wasn't always this way was it?)

The affect shadow parameter is telling vray to fake the caustics. If you want to use real caustics, you need to keep this option off otherwise you would end up with dual caustics, what vray doesn't allow, so it doesn't compute the real caustics if enabled.

It has always been like that as far as I remember.
