This is a bit of a strange one.
I am testing a multilayer EXR workflow at the moment, and I have noticed that if you save both a single and a multilayer EXR from a render with a VRayVelocity render element, the result in the render element is quite radically different between the two versions. What is most strange is that these are saved from the same single render.
The multilayer EXR velocity channel has stationary values of black (0).
The single channel velocity render element stationary values are grey (0.5).
We can deal with the difference, but I am curious why/how this is possible?
