Vrayproxy show as box in viewport

When I open my scene, the vrayproxies changes to being displayed as a box and not the "preview from file" as it is set to.

Does anyone else experience this error?

ps. I use max 2016 and vray 3.2.03.

Unfortunately we did not mange to find the reason causing this effect. There is another thread with discussions and workarounds here: http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthread.php?79708
Generally you can try this workaround:

- Select all of the proxies in the scene
- open MaxScript listener (F11 )
- type: $.display = 0
- enter

I suppose that manual changing the Display type from the Proxy node settings doesn't help either ?
Is there any chance that the file is missing from the path specified in the Mesh file field?
