  • DR Slaves "Busy"???

    Hey guys,
I was just having the issue where my DR slaves were not participating. The log gave the message something like "DR slave is busy with 0.0.0.0". Upon reading the slave's local log file (located in the /user/local/Autodesk/3dsMax/your_version/enu/Network folder) it showed "Failed to delete server scene file "C:\path_here\vray_server_scene.max". I then did two things. 1) I deleted this scene file on my slaves and 2) restarted 3ds Max on my workstation.

    Back in Business!

Just thought I'd share this since there are numerous, mostly unsolved threads on this topic. Maybe it'll help you!

Have you tried to enable "Restart slaves on render end" option?

Yes, I typically have that option checked. Good to know though!
