  • Over bright reflections

How can I get rid of the overbright reflections on the rail near the stage?
    Max ray intens is checked.

The easiest - make another reflection lights with lower mult and put 'em to include list.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

What are your anti aliasing, colour threshold and shade rate settings?

Have you turned off effect reflection in the light options? You probably have the light set to invisible, however, it still reflects the light unless you turn reflections off.

          Thanks Guys
see images for my set up.

I re-rendered with sub-pixel mapping check and the reflections went away but the images are darker.
With sub-pixel mapping un checked the reflections are there and the images is much brighter.

Up your aa to maybe 16 and try raising the reflection subdivs for that wooden material, alternatively raise the subdivs for the light that's hitting it.

Are we sure it isn't the spec? I have this come up all the time with IES lights where my reflections are ok but my spec is supernova.
