Can't add/remove slaves with Progressive sampler

I couldn't find any info on this so I decided to make a thread. During rendering, there's a button that allows you to access the DR window to add or remove render slaves on the fly (please see below). It works fine with Adaptive sampler but with Progressive I can't click on the checkboxes by the names of the slaves to add or remove them during rendering. Is this normal?

yes i believe this is listed as a current limitation of the progressive sampler. its written somewhere in Vlados neat handwriting, but i cant remember where.
