vray 3.3.04 VFB lag/unresponsive at times

Hi

Ive noticed that he VFB now lags and becomes unresponsive at times since the new install? Anyone else experiencing this?

Which 3ds Max version? There's nothing new that could cause this, from what I remember, but let's see if anyone else as the same issue.

I haven't had any lag but a couple of times it has been unresponsive and i have had to go to another open application like firefox and then back to max and then it becomes responsive again but then it locks after a couple of mouse clicks.
At this stage I can't constantly reproduce it.
I do need to update my video driver so I will see if that helps.

im using MAX 2016 - it never done this before this update. Exactly as mentioned above. LAG was probably the wrong word so disregard that. Its just unresponsive at times.

I was stuck on the Lens Effect window yesterday (mouse stuck to Glare size) No matter where I clicked, even of the screen and somewhere else on max, it would just move the slider up and down. Left click, right click, nothing worked. Only thing that worked was going to another app like email or browser then back to max

i beieve thats a different issue.. specific to the lens effects sliders.. flagged already. hopefully it will be fixed alongside the intensity mask and lack of vraysun/sky..

I just installed 3.3.04 yesterday and noticed that exact issue. Can I get the update? I was about to go back to 3.3.03.

It happened on one of the computers in the office today, just restarted max. will keep an eye and see if it happens again...

Same situation here. Usually it's just fine, then something? happens and it becomes unbearable that after one or two clicks becomes unresposive. Clicking into another window allows it to work for a few more clicks. A restart of max fixes it .

I have a similar issue, the vfb window doesn't freeze, but it "locks" on screen, like it becomes "always on top" but max in the background becomes unresponsive. I have to click the vfb taskbar button twice for it to be back to normal. It has been like this for 2-3 months. Even with the latest stable build from 2 days ago.

Always thought it was something on my computer, but apparently not.

yep happened to me as well yesterday, just some real weird behaviour. almost like it gets stuck when clicking the the region button and then wont draw out a region...
it then locks and you cant click back to max unless you click on another program like chrome or whatever, but when coming back to max the behaviour remains the same, had to restart max...

It was using an older nightly build and one of the latest builds seems to have fixed the issue

I'm on 2016 and 3.30.04 and I've noticed this as well. For me, whenever I click the 'alpha' button on the VFB, I cannot click anything else unless I select a different program in windows (lose focus of max) and then come back to it. Weird.
