Hi,
We recently received a professionally created ies file for a vehicle headlight. Here is the header information.

The problem is that there is a very bright and chaotic artifact below the plane of the accurate light. I seem to recall that we had this problem before with an ies file that we created. I believe we were able to fix it by zeroing out the data down to -90 degrees and up to 90 degrees. I'm assuming the vrayies light might be expecting an ies file with a range with a multiple of 90 degrees in the horizontal. Is this the case? If so is this a standard of the ies file format? If not would it be possible to have the ies light modified to address this problem? Otherwise I could modify the file but since this came from a separate company I'd prefer not to for potential legal reasons.
This image shows the bright area below what I guess would be the -10 degree verticle line.

Let me know if you need further information or the full ies file.
Thanks,
Rod
