  • VRay Fur - Differences Between Scenes (Same Settings)

    Hi all,

I don't often use VRay Fur but I'm just working on a simple rug at the moment and noticed that I can't seem to get the same results between my two scenes, even when the settings are the same. The unit scale of the scenes are also identical. I've uploaded an image below that hopefully shows the issue more clearly.

Copying the rug to the other scene seems to produce the same issue. Anyone had this problem and know how to solve it?

    Cheers,

    Max

What are the sizes of the two planes, in scene units?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

      200x150cm

I think I may have solved it, sorry vlado. It seems to be caused by the map in the initial direction slot, I was in a rush so I just whacked in the first one I could find (uploaded but originally from here)

Although something is still strange because if I reopen the scene, it's broken again. But if I remove and reload the map it works and renders fine..

Hm, can you post the scene that has this problem?

        Best regards,
        Vlado
