  • got more noise with v3.3.04 than 3.3.03

I get more noise in really bright areas with vray 3.3.04 http://c2n.me/3uxdoXN.png
    with vray 3.3.03 I got this... http://c2n.me/3uxf3CD.png

I have subpixelmapping enabled and read there will be less noise with the new release, but...

any ideas what happens or how I could avoid the noise?

    thanks

So the colour threshold value has changed - it's number used to represent the amount of accuracy you want in your sampling using rgb values, the new version of it is now a percent. Percent accuracy needs smaller numbers to be a similar level of accuracy to the old colour based version so you'll need to go a bit lower on the colour threshold.

It seems there might be some remaining issue there. I'm still looking into it.

any ideas what happens or how I could avoid the noise?
Can you post that part of the scene, just to make sure that my fixes work?

      Best regards,
      Vlado
