anyone else having Distrubted rendering problems with new vray 3.30.04 ?

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems?
It used to work, now it doesnt. MAX freezes sometimes during a DR render (only when i de-activate the local host setting).
I have only 1 slave and 1 master machine.

The process i used to follow previously was:
1 - check for missing maps
2 - ensure plugins/scripts exist in both master and slave
3 - ensure the slave machine is pointing to the IP address of the master machine via the vray licence server information
4 - connection port is 30304

Am i missing something?

Hey,

Maybe you are experiencing bug with VFB(Sometimes does not respond) you have thread here

Check low thread priority and see if that helps.

It looks like a different issue to me.
Can you give us more information like:

Does it happen on every scene or only on particular one/ones?
Did it happen with previous V-Ray version or it only occurs after the update to 3.30.04?
What plugins/scripts are used in the scene?
Is the V-Ray versions the same on both machines?
