  • V-Ray plane light

I ran in to a problem last night where I had several plane lights in my scene and had to isolate a model in the scene and render but even though all the lights were hidden they still rendered until I manually went in and set them all to invisible and now have to go back and make them visible in my scene again to render everything together.
    Cheers,
    -dave

Yes hidden light render by default. There's an option on the Global switches that renders hidden lights or not
    Kind Regards,

Yeah, I really wish that defaulted to OFF and invisible in the light options defaulted to ON.

The hidden lights setting can be fixed with a maxstart or other techniques.
