DR Nodes take a long time to begin working

I currently run into an issue with a scene and I don't know why. I didn't add any geometry or anything but suddenly when using DR the log says "Scene loaded; starting render" almost instantly but take like 5 to 10 minutes until I see additional buckets. I have really no clue why this could be happening since it was working fine before with the same scene. Already tried restarting everything checking the network connections etc. but I don't see anything wrong. I also tried merging everything into a new scene but same result.

Oh and I am using vray 3.30.04

Okay I narrowed down the problem to a few planes ( 198 ) with an emissive material on them. If I hide them or disable direct illumination inside the vraylightmtl the nodes join the render way way faster.

Can you send us that scene for investigation?
Does the slowdown occur only on DR-machines or the local machine behaves the same way?

Ah sorry Svetlozar I didn't see you answering. I don't have access to the scene at least not for another few days.
