Sorry for what seems like a double post. I assumed that the other thread that I posted in was dead. I would delete this one, but all I can do is edit. The issue went away with a new fresh scene.
I found an old topic that mentions a similar issue, but it might be too old to get any love.
Using max 2016 sp3 and vray 3.30.05, I created a scene using a single vray proxy object. Every time I open the scene, it renders as a box. I click on the box, reload the path and everything is fine. I could work around this if local rendering is an option.
I need to use a renderfarm for the job, so the problem becomes much larger. When testing rebus, it renders a box instead of my proxy. Is this a known bug or artist error?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
