    Hello

    Trying to fix some problems with vrayNormalBump for eyes rendering

    We have huge artefacts with vrayNormalBump when we try to push a bit too munch values.
    Here's our map :

    that i place into a simple grey shader :

    We have historical eyes shaders with standard bump nomal, but we have same issues with it. So we are trying to move our shaders (saw thoses kinds of threads) to VrayBumpMap but the bug is not resolved.

    Do you have any delays about that bug ?
    Should we move to an modeled version of eyes ?
    What are we missing ?

    This seems to be a bug in the latest V-Ray versions. I reported it to the developers.
    For now as a workaround you can downgrade to 3.30.03 or model this part of the eye.

      Ok so we are probably going to revert to 3.30.03 & hope for a fix in the next release
