  • Clipper doesen't cap holes

    Hi,

I would like to cut away a part of a model with an animated vRay clipper. I use mesh mode and have picked a simple Box as clipper mesh. The clipper workes fine as long as it is not animated. But as soon as the clipper starts moving it doesn't cap the holes anymore. I used an animated clipper before and it worked fine. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Here a screenshot of my testfile:

    Hello,

Thank you for the scene. Currently the clipper doesn't handle motion blur correctly when in mesh mode.

I'll write back when we fix this issue.

    Best regards,

Hello, I am trying to do something similar. Does the clipper support animated geometry? Seems to work with animated transforms but not with animated mesh?

In recent versions of V-Ray the clipper supports animated meshes too.
