  • Max 2016 Physical Camera and net render

Ok, I'm running into a glitch that is driving me mad. I've recently switched from working in 3ds Max 2015 to 2016. So the default camera is now the new PhysCam. When I render locally, all looks good. When I send it off to the farm, the camera no longer matches the FOV on all frames rendered except from one of the other workstations. 2 other workstations and 12 render nodes do it wrong. Even when I set the workstation I used to setup the camera to net render, it to changes the FOV (see attached). I made sure everything is running SP3 for Max, and the latest 3.3005 for VRay. Anyone else run into this issue know a cure other than changing all of the cameras to Standard or VRay Physical Cams and reanimating them?

Yes, I had the same problem. Especially with an animated fov...

Using Focal Length instead seems to do a Better job.

Also I read somewere that turning Lens Breathing to zero can help.
