  • Physical Camera, Focus Planes (DOF) Problem

    Hi,

I am not sure if this a VRAY problem or 3dsMax.
When I set the focus/or-the-camera target on my subject as I see in viewport, it is not ever in focus on the render. (in terms of DOF)
I tried both "use the camera target" option and trying to set a custom focus and viewport display never matches the render.

The focus planes on Camera Cone, which shows where focus starts and ends, worked very well with VrayCamera and from the viewport I could easily set my target and can easily know the in-focus areas and where shallow DOF starts.
How do they work in physical camera?
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround?

Solved the problem just after posting.
For that camera, pivot was at the midpoint of camera-target axis and was reading all the information accordingly.W
When I set to camera center, started to work again.

Checked this by creating new cameras and their pivots are fine so I must have changed the pivot for the existing camera without noticing.
