  • Nightly Issue

I grabbed the nightly from 4 May and in the RAR I can see the release notes for 3.35, but when I install it shows the release notes for 3.30, also everywhere in the UI it says 3.30
When I look at the release notes for 3.35, the modified features is not present in the installation. This leads me to believe the RAR actually contains the previous install, and not 3.35

    Am I missing something?
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

The vray_changelog included in the nightly build installation will only show the last official version state of information and it will also mention the date of that version: Build 3.30.05 (official) (08 March 2016). The release notes in another hand will include some of the new features and bug fixes done in the nightly builds. Please keep in mind that this info is updated from time to time so its not always up to date.
Furthermore I installed this exact build from 4 May and all around the UI it said 3.35.01 . What version do you get if you type vrayversion() in the Script Listener?

We have two types of nightly builds; one type is the actual nightly build and it is at version 3.35 at the moment; the other type is a "stable" build and is at version 3.30. It seems that some issues from the 3.35 nightlies trickled into the 3.30 changelog.

      Best regards,
      Vlado

How can I get access to the actual nightlies then? I see latest builds and the latest dates from 17th down to 11th, but those folders are just blank
        Kind Regards,
        Morne
