  • RT GPU as Production Renderer Out of Memory Problem

    We are trying to create fast and advanced animation previews using RT GPU, through using RT as Production Renderer,

    However what happens is, it renders 1 or 2 frames then exceed graphics cards memory limits and stops rendering without crashing the max.

    Same scene wont run out of memory, when taking preview through make rt preview dialogue and during active shade preview. It only runs out of memory whilst using it as production renderer.

    here is the error message.

    Hello,

    When rendering Active Shade all geometry is exported as shown in the view port - for example turbo smooth can have different options for the view port and for rendering. Particle systems also export different amounts of particles for the view port and for active shade.
    When in production mode - we get all the geometry and this leads to increased memory usage.

    If that is not your case it would be best if you could share a scene so that we can check why there is a difference in the required memory.
