Deadline and Raw image save

Morning

Trialling deadline 8 and trying to save via vray frame buffer using Raw image save and set to EXR on 3DS Max. The image sequence will not write to disk so I was wondering if there is a checkbox or anything someone knows about. We use this method on Backburner all the time and had no issues. Anyone had similar thing? Thinkbox have told me that it should work..

Hi,

Saving EXR via VFB RAW image output works fine in the Deadline version 7, but haven't tested this with the latest release
Deadline 8.0.1.0
I'll to upgrade our deadline software to 8 and see if the there is an issue with this. Will keep you posted!

Just completed a test render using Deadline 8 and the VFB Raw image output worked fine. Do you use the 3DS Max submission script or you are submitting the job directly from the Deadline monitor ?
Can you provide a scene file to test with?

I'm using the submission script within max. I will try submit via deadline monitor (didn't know you could). All I did was open a new scene, put a teapot down and camera, set use vray frame buffer, set save path (in VFB) and send to deadline with a frame range. I will try through deadline now and get back to you.

Interesting, worked when submitted through the monitor. Shall have a word with Thinkbox. I really don't like submitting through the monitor and prefer to do it within scene.
