  • VRayTriplanarTex not working with Motion Blur

    Hi,
while the triplanar texture works great I don't get motion blurred textures with it. Am I doing something wrong here or missing an option? Without proper motion blur the texture is rather unusable here.

    Example:

Two cubes with triplanar checkers. Left is rotating right one is translating.

This is kind of urgent so any help would be very welcome.

    Thanks,
    Nico

    Ok, I found the culprit:
"ShadeContext in camera space" is enabled by default. If I turn it off motion blur works correctly.

I wonder what else changes. And if the option should still be on by default.

    Cheers,
    Nico

It is ON by default in order to preserve the correct calculation of 3dsMax features using camera space instead the world space used by V-Ray by default.
V-Ray emulates work in camera space by converting the various points and vectors passed to and from other plugins, this conversion however could mess up with camera modifiers that's why there is option to turn it off which in your case seems very helpful.
