While evaluating 3.40 for our pipeline, I'm having a lot of difficulties rendering existing 3.20 scenes to look the same.
One issue I've been able to isolate, is that standard directional lights do not generate GI when using IR + LC with 'Store Direct Light' unchecked in the LC.
Both IR and LC produce the correct result when used separately, regardless of whether 'Store Direct Light' is enabled in the LC.
The light is using a VrayShadow without areas shadows.
