  • Render to texture GI errors

Haven't done this for a while, and only seems to happen on some objects... but unless we only use brute force GI with Embree switched off, then we see messy or errored Render to Texture maps with GI switched on. Embree errors show stepping and black lines over the texture maps, using IR produces maps where the shadows or occluded areas look like someone has used photoshop smudge tool all over them. Brute force and embree off is the only way we can solve it.

We've dont a whole series of updates, but started noticing it on Win 10/max 2016/vray 3.30 but updating to the latest version has not solved it. We've not had an issue using windows 7&8, 2015 and vray 3 before.

Would it be possible to provide a sample scene which reproduces the issue as well as an image of how the result looks like into your environment?

This is using brute force and no embree and is the only one that is correct, showing no oddness.
