I've noticed it in a few scenes now, that if i do a quick test render but at full 4k resolution, that the progressive mode render does not update at all for a very long time, sometimes 5 mins before the first passes but at the moment it is at 27mins of rendering with no update to the image at all.
Makes progressive rendering somewhat pointless. It is stuck on pass zero, but when it comes back, it usually jumps very suddenly up in quality, never displaying the lower quality passes. However if i stop the render before it unsticks itself, it will produce nothing useful.
max 2016 with latest vray. Using DR over 4 other machines and 256 ray bundle size (BF+LC)
I'm going to test now without DR to see if it is related to that.
EDIT: This is caused by DR, if DR is off the render starts displaying its final pass within the first min.
