  • Light directionality rendering wrong in RT

    Hi guys,

i have a scene where i am using vray RT for animation and i have to say i am somehow dissatisfied with the way RT is handling vray lights when the directionality is on.

for starters, it emits the light a lot different than CPU version.

secondly, its casting shadows and where they shoudl not be.
    here is an example:

Dont get me wrong i absolutely love rt for animation BUT the somethign is really weird about the lighting.

    any ideas?

    Cheers

    Hello,

Are using V-Ray RT GPU ? If so - light directionality is not yet supported.

It is in the "almost done" phase for quite a while, so it is coming at some point ...
