Vray mesh lights - Object moves around when picked

  • Vray mesh lights - Object moves around when picked

    Many times when I pick objects to use as mesh for my Vray mesh lights, the objects move around. How can I prevent this from happening? I have tried to match the pivot points of both objects prior to picking but it didn't help. I use a workaround where I leave a copy of the picked object and then I snap the mesh light at the position of the clone which I then delete.

    What is the right procedure of picking, if there is one, so that the object doesn't move around?

    Hi Alex,
    Is your source mesh part of a group? I see this already logged as a bug.
    Otherwise I will need some way to reproduce it here.

      No, mesh is not part of the group. I will try to send a scene for test if I find some time (very busy at the moment )
