VolumeGrid not generating any deep samples

Is there a special flag equivalent to the "Generate deep fragments" for vray volume grid? We're just getting 70KB empty EXRs with a fumefx sim. Tried setting OptionRE to MergebyZ and that didn't help either.

You need to use the Volumetric Geometry mode of the VolumeGrid in order to render the Deep files correctly.
