  • Saving an image without the Framstamp ?

I haven't used the Framestamp option much before but thought it a cool way of recording some information automatically (e.g. the Camera being rendered).

I *thought* that if/when one wishes to save that image it'd be saved without the Framestamp on it (as I don't intend cropping that bottom bit off later).

However, I find that it's not possible ?

You're correct - currently the frame stamp is always saved with the image.

We have logged a feature request to be able to choose whether it will be saved or not.

The whole idea of the frame stamp is to be saved with the image so that you can check information later on when reviewing a sequence... For the moment I don't plan to have an option to save it or not; in effect it will be identical to the frame stamp on/off option which we already have.

      Best regards,
      Vlado

That's a shame Vlado - as Miroslav's reply had made my day.

If you choose Framestamp, you are committing to permanently stamping something on an image - it'd be more flexible, and an assistance, to have that option to commit that stamp at the time you wish to save the image.
