  • VRayToon in render to Texture

Is it possible to enable the VRayToon atmospheric effect in the VRayCompleteMap RTT element? I'ts a bit complicated to explain why I need this, but I can assure you that in this very special situation I need this effect enabled here.

I tried adding the line "renderatmosphericeffects:true" to the ..\ui\macroscripts\Macro_BakeTextures.mcr file when the renderer is called. But it doesn't work.

    Thanks in advance.

Can't you use the VRayEdgesTex texture instead?

    Best regards,

The VRayEdgesTex would have been a good solution if only the lines it creates extended outside the mesh (as VRayToon does). The problem is that I'm rendering a very thin geometry that I'd like to be rendered as lines. But I need the lines thicker than the geometry itself.

VRayEdgeTex renders only visible edges, if certain edges are not needed you could turn the object into Editable Mesh select those edges and make them invisible.
There might also other ways to get the effect you are after but we will need example scene to understand better what exactly you would like to achieve.
