  • VRay Denoiser Command Line crashes with big EXR files

    Hello,
EXR files with sizes at least 800Mb can not be processed through VRayDenoiser command line
The same with half resolution render and smaller size about 300Mb is fine
    Could you please check it?
    Thank you

      Hi Vlado,

      Do you mean 800Mb exr?
Could you provide me the link for that?
As an option, you can easily create it from high res draft render.
But I can not send you the scene, sorry.

          Small update,
I tried to run Denoiser on different PC with different system (Windows 7) and got the same issue. It crashed with big EXR.
I can upload the file if it is necessary.
Please check if there is a bug.

You can upload the EXR file to our FTP server. Drop us an e-mail mentioning this thread to support@chaosgroup.com and we'll send you the login details.

            Thanks.

I have denoised files well over 1 gig via command line. Try the Vrimg instead.

                Hi eyepiz,

Yup, Vrimg works fine. Much appreciate for advice.
Miroslav, I contacted Support team. Thank you.
