Precalculation of Irradiance Map Loading Mid-Calculation

Hi there,
Apologies if this has been asked, I'm on a bit of an urgent job (arent they all) and need to get it rendering ASAP

I'm precalculating LC and IR in prepass mode for every frame of a 1000 frame animation on one machine.

On a second machine, when say 20 frames of precalculation are complete, can I set this machine to render finished frames using the file that is currently being precalculated in order to start the finished frames before the pre-calc has finished?

Really hope this makes sense and isn't a stupid question, I'm really new to animation,

Hm, it's a bit risky, especially if the two machines try to access the file at the same time. It might work ok, but I've never tried it and I don't know if it's safe.
