  • Vray Volume Grid, flipped axis when exported to .vrscene

    Hello everyone!

I seem to have a problem with the VrayVolumeGrid and Vray standalone. Whenever I'm exporting a .vrscene file from 3ds max containing a volume grid,
the grid gets flipped as soon as I try to render it with vray standalone.

Here is what it looks like in 3Ds max:

These are the settings I exported with (Note that I did just "export", not "export and render"):

When I then fire up vray standalone manually and try to render, the grid is flipped:

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I'm using 3.40.03 for max as well as the standalone.

    Thanks for reading this,
    -Robert

We can reproduce the issue and will report it as a bug to our developers.

As a note, this occurs with the V-Ray Standalone-only installation. Using the Standalone version that comes with the V-Ray for 3ds Max installation works OK.

Can you confirm if this is true on your end?

I've just tried it and I can confirm what you say.
