Two different displacements same material

Hello,

I'm having a problem with the displacement in different elements. The material is the same one but when applied to different elements the displacement is shown differently. I've had to create a different material and change the displacement values and apply it to their respective elements. Is there a setting for this? Please help. I'm using 3ds max 2015 with vray 3.4.

Check the scale of both objects and reset xform if needed
