  • Raytraced (solid) mode of FastSSS2 shows invisible Light which is inside

    the following scenes, invisible light is inside Sphere. no GI.
    Sphere is excluded from Light.

    FastSSS2 Raytraced (solid) mode is assigned to Sphere, internal invisible light will be shown.

    confirms in V-Ray 3.40.03 + any MaxVer.

    I think its because invisible is only for primary ray, and this refractive ray is a separate thing.

      Usually, invisible of VRayLight also affects refraction (Secondary ray).

      waits for investigation on Chaos Support.

        In this particular case the light is seen even when set to invisible because its lights affect the VRaySSS material it self. The material is set very transparent and the light rays gets seen inside, similar to an invisible light in a fog. In order to get the light invisible you should change the SSS material setup.
