  • WIBU not working

I've just installed a new C-Drive on my computer so I needed to reinstall everything. I can't seem to get my WIBU key working. I even went to the WIBU site and downloaded their latest driver but, through various combinations of installing and un-installing of that driver, and of VRay, the best I've been able to do is illustrated in the attached image. Windows identifies it, but doesn't know how to run it. Earlier today, it simply didn't know what it was.Click image for larger version

I swear I had VRay working last night. I don't know what happened. Though it is a very old WIBU key.

I experience that from time to time, have you tried switching usb ports and rescan - restart ? Also after the latest windows update i had to manually put the license server to autostart.

was the key plugged in when you installed the software? Ive had a similar problem and had to dump everything and make sure the key wasn't plugged in until after installing everything.

After following directions from Chaos Support that ended up disabling my computer, I did a Windows restore to the way I had things the previous afternoon, and everything is fine now.
