  • Caustics & camera tilt

    Hey guys,

Just throwing together some quick images and turned on caustics to get some nice light bouncing off of some windows and have "direct visualisation" enabled so that I can see the caustics map being generated, but the perspective is wrong (tilt) compared to the render - it also appears to be placing the caustics in the wrong place on the final render - some of them look as if they're floating.

See attached images. Most prevalent in bottom right corner.

There's a bug with the Max physical camera and tilt that can cause this. If you're not using a VrayCamera, you should switch to one to see if this resolves.
