1. Invoking the VFB History (usually when attempting to dock it) will freeze Max.

I'll do it today.

1. Open VFB
2. Invoke "H" icon to bring up the "History" dialog.
3. On History, (Using the history's hamburger dropdown) invoke the the "Dock History" setting.
4. System will sometimes immediately freeze, or sometimes freeze after performance of a few maneuvers or commands in MAX, but it has always frozen the MAX program (not the computer itself) eventually in every attempt I have made to use or to manipulate the VFB history feature. Also note that I can close MAX and restart MAX without rebooting the computer.

Note that if I use the VFB without touching any of the history features, there is no problem.

Other notes:
Bitdefender 2017 is running on this machine and all other machines on the network.
Bitdefender gives no notice of blocked program activity, etc.
Furthermore, Bitdefender allows V-Ray 3.5 network rendering with no issues.

Hi,

I'm trying to replicate the Max freeze/hang here following the steps provided but no success so far. If you can make a short video of the issue and send it to our support mail (support@chaosgroup.com) would be very helpful. There could be something that we are missing form your setup.
